Default Ram Slots

Well I am getting a new fan&heatsink for my e6600 and I noticed its going to block one of my ram slots. This is a picture of my mobo:

I have my ram installed in the both yellow slots. Do I just move them both into the red slots?

I would say it would work, it has to be in one color and both channels to be dual channel.

Read the manual. I've seen some boards that used the same color, others that used different colors.
