Mobo to support Dual Core 2 Quads??

Is there a mobo that will support two Quad cores, Xeon or Core 2 Quad. I just thought it might be cool to build a server with.

They have server boards on Newegg that will support two quad core processors, but the motherboards start at around a $250 price tag.

You mean active and passive cooling? Well in short, active cooling have moving parts while passive don't.

Oh, so for better temps, go with active but, sacrificing noise

Active just means that it uses a fan, while passive is a fanless design. I would recommend active if you have any intention to overclock.
