can someone explain dual channel to me?
what do you need to have dual channel,
and i heard people say that they dont want to give up dual channel by having 3 gig ram. how come u would have to give it up? y cant u have dual channel with 3 gig ram?

a dual channel supporting chipset (most do now). for dual channel all installed RAM sticks need to be the same size
