Default Laptop won't startup?

I have a 4 month old notebook with windows xp mc oreloaded onto it. The other day i was an idiot and turned it off while it was doing a file transfer to an external hdd. yes i know huge idiot but i was in the biggest rush in the world. well when i went to start it up later on it the loading bar of Windows would go by a few times then i got the blue stop screen. 0x000000ed. unmounted boot volume. the same error applies in safemode too, and all the other startup options, even the one that says Last known good confi...

I tried booting from a windows xp disk i have to get to the recovery console. it brings me to the blue screen where it loads all the things its gonna need to begin such as all the debuggers, drivers etc etc, and once it says ..now starting windows the screen swtiches to the blue stop screen again, this time a dif one..0x0000007E

so what can i do to fix my notebook? i don't have a floppy driver for it either.
thanx guys.

There are many issues which can be your problem, the hdd... th OS being corrupted... and I am to assume you have vital data on the drive that you desperately need too???

So, do you have an external hard drive? If not, it might be the best solution at this point to secure your data.

Here's what you should do...
1) Buy an notebook enclosure and remove your existing hdd from the notebook...

2). Attach the drive to your other computer.

3). Copy the files off the notebook drive to the other computer.

4). Then do a restore/installation and see if your computer pops back up and works?

Jmho.
