Default Video Card Upgrade

Hey there

I just got myself an HP Pavillion a1630n pc from bestbuy. It came with everything i needed for a low price, minus a good dedicated video card. I wanted to upgrade within the next little while and I was wondering what would be the best bang for the buck. I'm no hardcore gamer by any stretch, but running games nicely on my 1280x1024 17" screen would be nice. So far I was looking at a 7600gt and 7900gs but soon after I found out I'd need a new power supply. So I was wondering if it would be worth it to dump some money into a new gpu and psu for this machine and would appreciate any thoughts on the matter.

What's your budget for both things, that way we can suggest you video cards/psu's

I'd like to keep it at around $200 Canadian or less (for both the gpu+psu together), give or take a little. The lowest price I've seen on a 7900 gs is 197 on tigerdirect.ca but I don't need the upgrade asap, it's more like something for the future so I don't mind waiting for prices to drop....the 7900 gs looks good though. Another thing is I don't have a clue about what good power supplies are, but something around 400 watts or more should be fine.
