Epson stylus colour 850 is not going with XP

I got a problem. I bought an old printer and it is epson stylus colour 850. when i tried to install it, it says this is not matching with windows xp. What can I do about it?

is it a USB connection? You might need to install some drivers.

Are you certain that there are XP drivers available for that printer? If I remember correctly that printer came out a bit before XP was released, so you may not have access to compatible drivers...
