what are the thoughts? i haven't read much spectacular, although everyone anticipated it to be pretty good.

Comparable to the 7900's in DX9 games, And obviously less so in DX10.. Not a great value considering you could get a 8800 gts for a couple bucks more. I really think Nvidia dropped the ball here, leaving Ati to dominate the highly fought after Mid-range market.
