Default Just got Vista Ultimate.

Well, I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit edition, and I absolutely love it. Most people say there having all kinds of problems, but I havent had any so far. One thing I dont like is not knowing where the h311 run is , but Vista eats ram like crazy, Ive got 2 gigs, and last night I was using 1.5 of it :"(

just type the name of the program you want to run into the search bar in the start menu

vista keeps a running database of every file on your computer, which is part of the reason it uses so many resources

If you are far from "thrilled" about the new Vista look like I was about XP's as well you can use the classic Windows type theme. At first trying out the beta version of Ultimate last fall I had the same feeling about it being memory hungry until you look at the things you have loading as well as the new features added in. The msconfig is still a good tool for reducing software items loading up along with Windows to free some ram there.
