No audio device

plugged in comp and speakers
but it says i have no audio device
how do i get sound.

you gotta install drivers.....

did you JUST install windows? Or was your sound working, and then stop???

I know sometimes registry cleaner programs corrupt/move/delete drivers.

how do i do that?
its a gateway that my friend thought was broken.
its semi up to date and there seems to be nothing wronge with it but the no sound thing and he says when the comp worked the sound worked.
