Default Cas Latency

The Cas Latency I know is the speed of the memory basicall at how fast it sends information without going into heavier detail. But I hear the 2.5 is good but the 2 is the best. Now what does it mean whenever it says this
Cas Latency: 2-3-3-6
Cas Latency: 2-2-2-5

What is that telling me. Im still looking for good memory for my computer. I was going to go with the geil like I said in earlier posts but the latency is bad on it. So anyone got good suggestions on 1gb (512x2) Dual Channel 184-pin DDR PC-3200 memory
