Default Outlook Express Preview Pane

Hello.
I have Windows XP Media Edition. I have a error in Outlook Express.

1. The Attachment button, to the right in Outlook Express Preview Pan is missing. Where do i enable it?

2. When i open a email with an attachent, and try to run it, i cannot open the file. If i drag the file to the desktop, and then run it, it works fine, why?

Try turning off the preview pane and operating without it. If you cannot open an attachment from within Outlook Express, it usually depends on what the attachment is. What extension does this attachment have? There are isssues opening certain attachemnents from within Outlook Express. Let us know more detail and we should be able to help you.
