If you want to try the original enlightenment distro it is called Elive and you can download it for free via linuxtracker.org gOS looks quite a bit dumbed down for linux noobies which is good for its purpose but overall for intermediate/advanced user pretty useless.

Edit: Asus also brings linux to the mainstream with Xandros and the eee PC! http://eeepc.asus.com/global/ It is a laptop with flash drive memory, up to 8 gb depending on what model you get. Meant for internet surfing and the like tasks only. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ntel+processor
