what is a good gaming sound card?? and please not the too expensive ones
i am thinking Creative Sound Blaster SB0570 Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card is it good??

No, that is really outdated. Look at the X-fi from creative.

the x-fi's and the audigy's are going to perform exactly the same for games.

i've never even seen any games that can use the x-ram yet, and both support EAX surround.

oh and does there sound cards need any extra cables?? like when i buy the ATI X generation cards.. i didn't know it needed an extra power cable. so i hope sound cards don't require any extra cables..
