i tested both of these cards on this game MMORPG game called Rappelz
suprisingly x1950 only runs at maxium 30 FPS and 7800gs runs at average 10-20 FPS. i have to say x1950 have gives me better pictures but the FPS is very unstable. it constantly drops by a huge chunk. which makes the game laggy. while 7800GS stays around 10 - 20 FPS. its not very fast but smooth gaming. ofcourse when i test them with 3dmark06 x1950 runs faster! the only thing i don't get is... why is my x1950's benchmark so close to 7800GS oc's benchmark. x1950 is suppose to be a way faster card. i checked everything. i made sure my sapphire x1950 gets 2 different PSU cables. it doesn't overheat cuz i got artic cooler x2. still !! it runs pretty slow??? help me out guys...

Depends on what 1950 it is?
And different card with different architectures may do better/worse depending on the game or application run.

Maybe you don't have enough amps on the 12v+ rails, can you post the exact amount you have?
