Default console to speakers

i realize this isnt computer related, but i figured id ask here since it concerns speakers.

how would i connect a console (xbox, ps2, etc.) directly to a set of speakers? do they just have to be rca instead of analog?
also, is there any way to simultaneously use my current speakers which are connected to my computer?

RCA is analog. RCA and speaker wires are no different. Clip the end off an RCA connection and use the wires...viola. Well, you might have to amplify the signal, but yeah, same thing

As for a computer, something like an RCA to headphone converter. COnnect the console to the Line-in on your PC
