No offense, no flaming, but you're wrong. Some Linux distros are buggy because they are still in development. There are many different stable versions of linux distros. Many distros are even designed for beginners. It is not at all difficult to install new programs with linux; it's called synaptic packet manager (in most cases) and has a very user friendly graphical interface in where you search for what you want to install. You can do anything with linux that you can do with windows except serious gaming. I say serious gaming because there is a way to play many games in linux (ie BF2142, HL2, etc) but it costs money. To me part of the deal with switching linux is that it's free. Hope this helps.
