Default I got a Linksys wireless network and all of a sudden computer freezes up

Hi,

I moved last week and decided with a Linksys wireless netowrk consisting of two desktops and a laptop. The main dekstop is connected by cable, the other two wireless.

I installed/connected the Linksys WUSB54GC USB adapter to the wireless desktop and ever since, the computer has been giving me problems. It freezes up and I have no choice but to cut off power to retart it. I'm aslo having trouble when it goes into sleep mode --the screen goes blank and freezes. The internet does work however.

I should also mention that this happened almost immediately after I installed 'Webroot Spy Sweeper' ...(having switched from AVG).

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks!

A client of mine had a similar issue with SpySweeper.. I believe we fixed it by disabling the ActiveX monitor within SpySweeper settings. Like holdenssx said, try disabling SpySweeper to see if that fixes your problem. If it does, re-enable it and disable each setting one-by-one until you alleviate the problem. I wouldn't be surprised if the problem is SpySweeper.
