I'm finally getting my new build in the next couple hours and of course I forgot to add the OS. I'm looking at this right now. I don't want to get vista yet, still too buggy for my liking and from what I've read Vista doesn't support the 8800 series cards yet. Ok, so the main things I'm getting at is, is this http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16832116056 a normal windows XP OS or not? I don't want to spend more than 100 on a OS, but if I have to I will. Advice? Suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance.

yes it is windows xp with service pack 2 b, it will do fine just remember it is oem so you dont get any books with it and limited microsoft support and you can only use it on one mobo , the retail version comes with full microsoft support a manuel and i think you can install it on 3 diffrent mobos for upgrading purposes.
