New sound card - no MIC ?
i installed my new sound card - audigy SE and the speakers work great however i cant get my MIC to work - so i have to plug it into intergrated graphics to be able to use the MIC - but i wanted to disable the intergrated in BIOS - is there something im doing wrong or does the audigy SE not support a mic?

Well, first, is the mic muted? Many times the computer mutes the mic. Second, is there an on/off switch on the mic?

Usual questions: Did you plug it into the right port on the card? And the above questions.
Also, you plugged your mic into the integrated graphics? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

There isnt an off on swicth on the MIC. I am checking to see if it ismuted but i dont think it is
