Okay....heres the situation. I had a 2k-pro box with some data on it and i used the encryption option on some of the data. What I did was I copied that data to a secondary drive on my xp-pro box(both 2k and xp are NTFS partitions). Now I am trying to access the data through winxp and I can't access the data because I didn't decrypt it before I transfered it and I no longer have the 2k box. I was wonder if anyone know off of the top of their head how to get around this, so I don't have to go read a book or someth'n
I tried going to the properties of the files to disable encryption, but I get an access is denied. The font for the encrypted files show up green...kinda cool. and yes I am trying all of this as Admin. |
