alright..basically i've had this laptop for about a year and a half and id say just about a month ago the a/c adapter when plugging into the wall wouldnt charge my battery nor would it even give me a/c power at all...so i tried my dad's power adapter which i know is a big no no but it was just to see if it worked...and so it seems it did...then i tried it again cause i needed somethin from my laptop and now it seems like the little hole u plug into on the laptop is very sensative...one little wiggle and it turns off on me...not to mention it will randomly shut off with it plugged in as well..sooo i just bought the correct power supply from the internet for my gateway...we'll see if this works but if it doesnt...what could be my problem? and is it worth fixing if possible to pick it at all? thanks again...p.s. im a newbee to the forum
