You will have to delete the partition that Pro is installed on then recreate the partition and then install Home. Any particular reason why you want to downgrade to Home edition?

Thanks. Well yes because I failed the genuine windows validation because the computer guys set up pro for me obviously with a dodgey key. I used to have XP home, dont know why he changed to pro but i still have the product key for windows xp home on the sticker on my computer, can i use that key with no problems do you know? How would you delete then recreate the partition then? Cheers mate

Boot to the XP Home cd and delete both partitions, then make one big one and then install XP Home. Just follow the prompts when the installation starts up, its really easy.

You can't upgrade from Pro to Home edition. Only from Home to Pro. You'll have to do a fresh install the way I told you previously.
