The fact that it's on 24/7 is a contributing factor as to why it gets slower with time. Even dedicated systems need to be shut down and rebooted periodically. The amount of RAM will have a bit to do with it too, as far as the length of time before it slows. Perhaps consider upping to 512, 768, or1024?
