Default Outputting music on a tv to a recevier

Is it possible? We get music channels on our tv and would like to set it so that the music on the channels is player over our sound system in the basement but we are stuck on connecting the tv to the receiver because a tv has no output audio jacks

you don't even have a headphone jack on the tv?

yea, and I have a cheap "Daewoo" tv. How old is the tv?
