Default installshield corrupted

Hi everyone,

i've a big problem with Installshield wizard : the install program closed itself after few seconds with any software ! so obviously i can't install anything !
i've searched the forums but it seems i'm the only one with this problem !
i've tried several things (svc/scanow, disabling antivirus, defrag...) but with no luck for now.

help please !

system : xp, c2d 2.4g
