I have a 250GB Western Digital drive with 8mb cache. I partioned it into two separate drives of 125GB. I have a lot of files on the 2 drives and I want to create another partition on one of these 2 drives (so 3 partitions/drives).
Is this even possible or do i need to reformat first and then partition my 3 separate drives? or do i need different software? (im using Western Digital's "Data Life-Guard Tools")Note: My system files are on another drive. (if that even matters )

i think you can, try googling - partition magic. i created a couple of partitions on the end of my second drive with files on before, but i removed them cos they were no use.

I downloaded the PowerQuest 8.0 Partition Magic. Was this the one or were you referring to Norton's Partition Magic?
Anyways, i get an erorr message while installing the powerquest version...It says "The wizard was interrupted before PartitionMagic could be completely installed." Any ideas? |

hey do u know how to bypass or get rid of this error message during installtion?
"The wizard was interrupted before PartitionMagic could be completely installed." The first thing it installs (scripts or somthing)...it goes straight to 74% and then goes to 100% and installs other components and then comes up with the error message |
