Angry how do i combine two hard drives

i need help, my old old computer has been programed two have two directories that read as two seperate hard drives, it really is just one. It has a total of 3gigs and my "hard drive" directory is full, my "2nd Drive" still has about 700 mb free and what i wan to do is erase that to get more space on my "hard drive." is there anything you guys can help me with, it would be a real help.
