Default MSN Messenger, why is it coming like this

Have a look at this screenshot,

How do I change the colour so that it is not 'plain white' cause right now I think the information that is supposed to be displayed there is getting 'camoulfaged' with the background.

I dont know how to change the colour dude sorry, and i dont think you can but it doesnt matter anyway.

All that ever displays is about the Customer Service Program, or if both of you have a webcam or not, or about file transfer speeds lol. Seriously it never says anything else.

thats an issue with the program nothing to do with colors...try uninstalling and reinstalling. The only information shown in that box is the screen name and their current status.

Ah yes, the other person's status i forgot about that... hmmm, you may want that but you could just look at their icon in the contacts list and see what that says

Yup, I was just about to mention that the main reason I want to be able to see it is so that I can see what the other persons' status is & yes I could just have a look at the icon in the contacts list but, this is easier. Lol.
Hmm, well I've applied a custom theme - AlienGUIse theme & I think some customization done by the theme might have caused the font of the info that is supposed to be shown in that area to have changed to white colour, *I think*. But ya, you still think uninstalling & re-installing the program might work or maybe try something else?
Thanks a lot for the help..

Ok I got how to fix this. Do the following to change the color of the writing that is displayed in that 'tooltip'.
Start > Control Panel > Appearance & Themes > Display > Appearance > Advanced > Item:Tooltip & then change the color of the *Font*. Hope this helps if anyone else ever comes into the same problem.

If you're using a UI changing program then it would have been that which is causing the issue, try searching through that and getting to a font colour changer, mess around with it, it will most likely be a setting in that program

Yeah I think you posted just a lil after I posted my solution to it & maybe that's why you didn't see I had figured how to get fix it, thanks anyway =)
But, I got a problem. The change is only temporary. As in, after the computer reboots the colors are reverted back to the old settings, any way of making it permanent?
