Compaq Presario V6000 laptop, widescreen, XP Media Center Edition, AMD Sempron Mobile...Nvidia graphics, Vista capable. got it for $299 + 1 yr extended + tax, around $400. Bought at a HEB sale in TX at 4 PM in the morning... had to fight people (literally, push ppl outta the way, ect). I didnt get one but my kid did =) but he got it by alot of punching . Well took it home, got it, and had probs with the wireless, HP repaired it, works very well, but it runs very hot:

whenever I put a game cd in there, every 5 mins or so the gamescreen will pop up, the "instll/uninstall, read me, ect. i didnt click anything to do this though... whats happening???

GRAPHICS PROBLEM:

OVERHEATING PROBLEM:
