Im thinking about getting my first mac computer.
The price difference between the normal one and the pro seems quite a lot. Do you think this extra price is worth it? People with macbooks: do you ever wish you got a Macbook pro? Also i think that the normal macbook looks nicer. Help please

It really depends on what you want to use it for. For some people, simply not having an integrated graphics chipset is worth paying more for the MacBook. Personally, I plan on buying a MacBook Pro as soon as they are updated with the Santa Rosa platform and, hopefully, LED backlit screens.
For me, the reason I am getting a MBP instead of a MB is because I don't want the integrated graphics, I don't like glossy screens (you don't get a choice on the screen type with the MB, whereas on the MBP you can choose a matte/non-glossy screen), and, to be honest, the aluminum is really amazing-looking in my opinion. So, yes, I think the extra price is worth it...but what will you be doing with it? |
