Question Incoming Server Help...

I have just installed Mozilla Thunderbird as an alternative to Microsoft Outlook although I have stumbled into a slight problem:
Can anyone advise me on how to find the incoming server to a hotmail account?

That suckx. Is it true that Hotmail as well as Gmail do not support email checking programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird which is a real shame.
Although I have heard that Hotmail Plus does support the email checker, but who'd pay just for program compatibility?

Default Yes

POP3 simply means that in Outlook you can configure it in a way that when an e-mail arrives to your GMAIL account, you will receive it using OUTLOOK or THUNDERBIRD (see later).

Well you will need a GMAIL invite. Have a look in this forum for places where people offer GMAIL invites. I can send you one. Just send me an e-mail to purkrabek@gmail.com. And now to answer your question, Mozilla Firefox by itself will not check the mail for you in the same way as oultook does. So in order to check for mail...EITHER go to www.gmail.com and sign in through the broser or use MS Outlook Express to check for mail. I suggest however, the use of Mozilla THUNDERBIRD as a great alternative. You can download that here : http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/.

GOOD LUCK MAN, JAN

I already have a gmail account, with 50 invited, do you want one .I'm a newbie when it comes to MS Outlook because I usually check my mail on the net but I thought a change would be good so I got Thunderbird.
