Default Lost ms word, what's another good one free?

I lost MS word and can't seem to get it back. What's another good free word pad and where could I down load it?

A free alternative to MS office (including Word) is OpenOffice.org

OpenOffice is actually a suite, much like MS Office.

OpenOffice's Word equivalent is called Writer.

As far as I know, you have to download the whole suite http://www.openoffice.org

If you dont want a whole suite, I'd go with AbiWord.

I too use OpenOffice. I actually just reloaded my laptop, and that was one of the first programs I reloaded on it.

yeah i was gonna say that, i just found out about ABIWORD on windows 2 days ago, also there's a notepad call NOTEPAD++, it's really good.
