A "Sony Vio laptop" is extremely vague... However, most any laptop DVD-Burner should work just fine in the system.

Haha, sorry... But regardless, don't try to get one for a specific model. Just look for any old "slim" DVD burner, such as what I posted. They're all the same

Yep... any 'slim' DVD Writer will work in a laptop, just like an normal DVD Writer will work in a PC.
