Default PC2100 and PC2700

If I have a stick of pc2100 and pc2700 , both 256MB of RAM, will the PC2100 prevent me from overclocking? And I bought this mobo (pc chips socket 478 2.8GHz CPU) how can I find out what type ram I can get? I want to get a PC3200 but i dont know if its compatiable with it.

The PC2100 will only prevent you from overclocking because it has a slower speed it's guranteed to run at. Since the PC2700 will be running at PC2100 speeds you know it will be OK until the FSB is clocked high enough that your RAM speed hits 333MHz DDR (from 266MHz).

What chipset is it? You can probably put PC3200 on it without any problems.

So it's probably an i845 but it could be something from SiS or VIA.

Yes, your RAM will only run as fast as the slowest stick installed.

A picture of the chipset wont help, they all look very similar except for the silk writing on it.
