Default Looking for new gaming computer (advice)

I am looking to purcahse a new computer - Used mostly for gaming -

I see that Dell has new "gaming specific" systems...and for the most part they look great. But need some advice.

I've been hearing / reading some bad things regarding the new Vid Cards....GForce once with Nvidia driver issues?....What video card should I look to get?

Also, on the Dell gaming systems....it shows having DVD/RW drive (does this also work CDs as well?)....Not just DVDs....Correct?

As some of my older games (that I'll still play, like Janes F-18, GR)....they are CDs....not DVDs.

Thanks for any and all advice...

I don't recommend you to buy a system off dell for gaming, if it were normal use like web surfing or just for school projects, but since it's for gaming you're better building your own computer than buying a pre-build one.

Look at newegg (if you live in the united states) or ask here and we'll help you

You might want to look into an online company that builds Gaming pcs

You may be hearing about some driver problems with the new vista OS. when picking your video card there are two main companies, ATI and Nvidia. Both are equally good, Video cards really depend on how much you want to spend on them and what type of games you are looking at playing.

Yes DVD players will also play CDs most likely if its a DVD/RW (DVD burner R/W is read/Write) It will also burn CDs, so no worries about that.
