Your cousin has had experience installing Windows on previous occasions making like a little easier for you there! You should be taking notes while the information seen on each install screen takes you through the installation easier then learning different ways of partitioning and formatting.

But that's not that difficult to learn once you have someone that can be present to coach you at first. The rest all of us learn by working directly on systems. Don't feel bad since even those that are bookwise still need "hands on" type experience as well.
