Hello all.

Well a friend of mine has asked me to spec him out an average machine (preferably one he could play games on, obviously nothing new, something along the lines of CS:S etc) for the budget of around £500 (slight under or over on the budget is acceptable). So I thought I'd post it up here and see if anyone could come up with a decent spec for around that price. He would like a monitor included if possible (17" tft would suffice).

I haven't began to look at system specs for him yet, hence why I thought of you lovely people .

If anyone could bang together a fairly average but efficient spec for around £500 that'd be great.

The main website I use to purchase components from is the following: http://www.overclockers.co.uk (I basically purchase all of my components from them now due to the amount of issues I've had with other websites, Ebuyer for one) Another website I plan to look on is: www.dabs.com If anyone knows of any other decent websites to purchase computer components from within the UK that'd be great if you could specify them.
