Default Windows: WGA

I'm pretty sure most of you know about this update, the Windows Genuine Authentication or something of the sort. I don't know much about it except that it is supposed to make sure your copy of windows is authentic. I don't have a problem with that, because I do have a genuine windows xp operating system. However, this update, particularly the wgalogon.exe that it runs, slows down my computer especially on start-up. Now, my question is wether or not this is a critical update or if theirs a way to keep it from slowing down my start-up without having to delete it.

Oh woops, you're right. It's not wgalogon.exe, its wgalogon.dll. Thank you, but the problem I have isn't the same problem as the person in the link has. The update isn't bothering me for not having a genuine windows or anything, It's just slowing down my comp, especially on boot when the windows logo loading screen appears. At first I thought the problem was ctfmon.exe but I got rid of that (with some work) but the boot was still slow, so I got rid of WGA and it improved but it's slow again. Here is a hijackthis(something.exe) log.
