Hi, I recently was using linux, and switched back to windows because I was having so much trouble getting my video card to work properly. Now I have winows back up and running and am still getting the same jittery screen glitches. I thought at first my videocard couldnt handle the game I was playing, but then I played a much older game, and was getting the same problem. I have a Radeon 9700 pro and for the life of me cannot figure out why it is giving me so much trouble. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Also, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics card as well as a complete reformat of the system. Would it have anything to do with the BIOS? Thanks. -Bob |

Also...
When I start my computer occasionally I am getting weird characters and symbols coming up and just blinking and flashing. So I dont know if that has anything to do with the cache, or if the cache is sometihng particular to a particular OS, or if it is possibly the BIOS. I am very open to suggestions because it is getting quite annoying. Thanks -Bob |
