Exclamation stubborn panda

hi all, i installed a virus program from a magazine disk called panda anti-virus2007 and when i tried to register it would just lead me around in circles and would not send the activation code to my email, long story short, i wanted to uninstall it and delete it from my computer but it wont let me delete it. I have tried add/remove programs in control panel and also tried deleting it and the whole folder from "my computer" with no luck. how do i kill the panda????

Here is one link I found where others have seen the same issue:

http://forums.tweaktown.com/archive/...p/t-20720.html

Sometimes antivirus software services continue to run, even during the uninstallation process. This could cause the uninstall to fail (parts of it are still in memory.) ALT CTL DEL and make sure nothing is running.

Have you tried it in Safe Mode?

i think that's what i had to do with my panda trial as well although a system restore may also work for you.

As for panda antivirus in general,- I have used it for the past 3 years and have had hardly any problems(virus's/spyware/trojans) at all. It's far superior to that norton crap and very resource friendly to your system(2007 version)

I would reccomend panda to anyone.
