Hm I differ on some of your points about Vista. True that it has a bunch of eye-candy and that it takes more resources to run, but it's also a pretty nice operating system. As long as your hardware supports it, I believe Vista is better than XP. It's probably not worth upgrading from XP on an old computer, but if you are building a new one, Vista is in my opinion better. Considering the fact that you can buy 2 gigs of ram for barely 40 dollars, Vista's minimal requirements is pretty basic. If you can address other perspectives it'll be a much better presentation.
