Default HELP, connecting 2nd computer

Hi guys,

I need some help, i set up a desktop computer to a netgear wireless router, using a wirless USB adapter and it works fine.

Now i want to join that network with my laptop, and i can find it alright with my laptop, click to connect and enter the WPA password but then it doesnt connect.

Can anyone help me?

is the wireless device being managed by another program, that might make windows think it's disconnected because another program is handeling it.

windows still knows once it's finally connected

the computer probably just has more than one networking adapter, and the disconnected icon in the tray is for the other one

Go Start->Connect to->Show all connections, and then you can see all your connections.
