Default Windows Media Player

Well last night I was just hanging around , listening to music and I noticed that the current band (Rage against the machine) was doubling every song, I had my ipod plugged in so I thought it ws doing some weird crap I unplugged it , same problem, after i tried deleting Rage from the library and the same problem, I tried restarting, same problem, even if i delete the library on WMP it copies them all back
i have Xp home

any ideas?

I don't find WMP to be user friendly, so I don't know where your problem lies. I would try JetAudio. It's freeware and much easier to use.
