maybe you should consider archiving installed downloads to a folder and then backup that.

Already on it. Just bought Norton Ghost on Ebay, just waiting for delivery from the US (cheap as chips lol) I'm going to use my raid array to back up my Maxtor on a regular basis automatically. I recently lost everything when the Raid corrupted, so after reinstalling everything once I'm reluctant to do it again...

This is kind of like the thing i found but i would find reinstalling stuff less hassle - really. no i cant remember but im sure it searched for dependencies and registry, it wasnt that obscure a program... when i right click properties dependencies, something....

actually i think it was some antivirus company progrm with extra features
