Morning all
I have XP service pack 2 on my machine .....if I try to download ANYTHING including anti virus software winzip etc i get the following message "your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded" I have searched microsofts knowledge base I have turned off firewalls and pop up blockers I have added the sites to allowable sites on my internet options and nothing is resolving this problem .. I need to update drivers . Any help please . Thanks |

open internet explorer
click on tools click on internet options click on security click on custom level scroll down till you get to downloads in the security section click and enable automatic prompting for downloads click and enable file download also firefox may not give you this problem i would consider it.
