Red face search for share

is there a program that i can do a search for share folders on a Pc (not on the network).
because some ppl tend to share to much folders and they forget.
And also they don't have a right computername to its difficult to know which is which

If you go into My Network Places, click on "view workgroup computers", your computer will be one of them listed, and then you can see all of the folders that are being shared.

I already know that.i don't wanna do it this way cause a share will probably look like this
"test1m on nsgfjfK001" where "nsgfjfk001" is a computer name which i don't know !!!
I haven't had the time to rename all pcs on the network so they have their default name.
if it was (IP) "test1m on 10.30.X.X" it would have been easier.

any others ways cause
