Sadly hockey isn't appreciated in America, a lot like Soccer(the real football) both great sports but the ignorant Americans only want their football, basketball, and baseball and can't have anything else new

Ottawa has been my favourite team for years and years its great they made it this far and now its time for them to kick American bum (nothing against America I just hate their player stealing teams)

the main reason the nhl died in america is becuase it was loosing popularity a few years ago and then the idiots went on strike and lost a season and a half becuase and i quote a major player for saying "2.5 million a year isnt enough for me" idiots!!! When you are gone for almost 2 years its not hard to forget about it. Hell they only started covering it on espn in the playoffs again really america has never been a hockey nation and never will be every nation is different and has their own sports. We will always have baseball which is america's passtime and always will have our version of football but never soccer which the mls is a joke in america and might as well be dropped becuase no one goes or watches their games.
