Default Flash BIOS?

I've been having problems with my PC for a while now. One of the things is that the screen is freezing slightly whenever a video is playing or my mouse moves across the screen. Anyways, someone asked me if I've Flashed my BIOS. What does that mean?

Flashed your BIOS simply means if you have updated your motherboard BIOS to the latest version (or any other version different to the one you are using at present). If you don't know what you are doing it's a little risky but the manufacturers website for your motherboard should offer more than an adequate manual and program to do so.

Breaks.

So is that something that needs to be done on a regular basis?

No. It's best not to do it unless you have a problem that is fixed in the latest bios revision.
