Default can't uninstall program...

I'm trying to uninstall a certain program that I downloaded, but I'm running into a few strange problems:

1) It seems that the software did not come with it's own uninstaller (I've searched the program files and the folder doesn't exist) nor does it show up in my start menu.

2) The program itself does not show up in the add/delete programs section of the control panel, so I can't uninstall it that way either.

The program was a zip file...if that makes any difference.

...Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

What's the program? What OS? And where did you get it?

It's a mmorpg called Cronous for windows xp which I downloaded from the Cronous site; I believe the program is in open beta.

Interesting. Never heard of it. I would try looking in the temp files and in whichever folder you have set for downloads. Doing a search for it may not work because it's probably not indexed either.
Good luck

if it was only the zip archive, it has probably only copied (unpacked) its own files somewhere, but it didn't write any data to registry etc. so you can easily delete its files from folder where you have unpacked them...
