Default Building help

I have two broken laptops and am currently constructing a working tower out of the scrap parts, wandered if anyone can help me with a mobo prob.

Some of the parts i can use twice (RAM, HDD, monitors etc.) but my mobo knowledge is limited, is it possible to use two, and if it is is it would it be beneficial?

Plus is there anything else i can use twice that i haven't thought of?

How are you going to use the 2.5" hard drives in the tower? Towers take 3.5"
